Nanuka Tchitchoua Artist, filmmaker and independent curator Nanuka "Nana" Tchitchoua creates in diverse media and technologies. Her work shows in exhibitions and festivals including the Museum of Modern Art, the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theatre, the Guggenheim Gallery at Chapman University, Stanford University, and worldwide in Holland, France, China, Spain, Norway, Germany, and Russia.

Born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1978, Nana lived through the decline and fall of the Soviet Empire until her family fled to the United States in the early 90s. She studied at the California Institute of the Arts, receiving a BFA in Art in 2000 and an MFA in Experimental Filmmaking in 2002. Nana's work is a fusion of Byzantine aesthetics, ancestral archetypes and fragmentary cultural icons - a cross-referencing of images that are fiercely nostalgic for a heroic and romantic dream world.

Nana curates the Tula Tea Room and Borzoi Kabinet Theater at The Museum of Jurassic Technology, and initiates artists exchange residency/collaborative projects with Gregg Fleishman Studio: The Kindergarten for All Ages and The Guest Room Projects. She is a frequent collaborator with her husband, Travis Wade Ivy. She lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
